Join Yorkshire Coast Nature on one-day bespoke migration specials, dedicated specifically to making the most of bird migration on the hallowed Yorkshire coast!

These unique adventures are limited to just five places per tour, ensuring you receive unrivalled attention and guiding from our expert on the ground. We will use our famous local knowledge and contacts to maximise the best of east coast migration on the day, and we'll provide you with an 'insider's insight' into the magic and mystery of this most incredible phenomenon throughout! Suitable for any ability level (although a basic fascination with bird migration is preferable!), we guarantee various special migratory species, and who's to say we won't find the big one on the day?

Key birds: We'll read the weather conditions to make sure of the best possible returns, which may include:

On the land - thrushes, finches, chats, warblers and birds of prey;

Over the sea - skuas, shearwaters, ducks, terns, grebes, geese and divers;

On the coast - various seabirds and shorebirds; at local wetlands - waders, ducks, geese, swans and much more.

You'll visit the most productive habitats and locations and it may well be a combination of several (or even all!) the above.... expect to learn a lot, first hand and in the thick of it! Please note: transport is not provided on this day tour. All sites will be in close proximity to the meeting point to be arranged.

What you will need to bring...Please bring warm and waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear, a packed lunch and drink. BINOCULARS ARE ESSENTIAL. If you don't own any or wish to hire an alternative pair, we have a small number of high-quality binoculars to hire at £10/day. A telescope may be useful but is not essential. Please note; Yorkshire Coast Nature cannot guarantee specific wildlife sightings, nature is unpredictable. Changes to booking dates can only be made at least 28 days in advance of your booking and will be charged at £10/person. The Clock Tower Cafe

Adjacent to the house, in what was the courtyard stable block, this pretty building dates back to the early 1820s and was added by John Greame III.

The cafe serves a wide range of hot and cold refreshments with freshly ground coffee, a selection of sandwiches, soup, cakes and homemade scones and flapjacks, together with seasonal specials!

There are colouring sheets and a selection of children's food available in the Clock Tower Cafe.

Dog walkers and their dogs are welcome at the Clock Tower Cafe in a designated seating area

Opening times: 9.30am - 4pm (last hot food orders 3.30pm)
