This is one of the most beautiful places/ cottages we have stayed in. Perfectly located for walks to the village that not only has pubs but amazing food. Walks to all the beautiful locations are fantastic Alison has put lots of love into this cottage and it shows. She was amazing during our stay and nothing too much trouble We will definitely use this place again. A fantastic holiday

A great house in a quiet location. We would stay again. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
'Thank you so much. We loved staying at your home in Flamborough. We would definitely stay again.'

Lovely well-equipped house in a quiet close, walking distance to village amenities and the coast path. Great to have the outdoor space and the boot room in the garden where we securely stored a bike. Our host Alison was wonderful - friendly and responsive. Cake and teabags much appreciated, thanks.

This is the second time we have stayed at Rosewood Cottage. The facilities are perfect for our type of holiday. Flamborough is a lovely place to stay, with plenty of places to eat and drink and access to the surrounding area of coast is easy. There are also hidden beaches which are great for kids to play; which are walkable from Flamborough and the sea-side style attractions not far to travel by car.

We loved the quiet neighborhood with the flowerpot people! The walking trails were fantastic, definitely a great spot to visit.

This is a little gem of a find. The cottage, garden and environs has everything that is needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The cliff walks in the area are beautiful, I especially enjoyed South Landing and the beach and little cafe there. Flamborough village has a Co-op for provisions and a number of pubs, all of which serve food. The Seabird was a favourite. I would recommend making a reservation, as we were disappointed on one night when everywhere was full! Rosewood Cottage is perfect, if I go back to Flamborough, I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Pauline Staves

Great place to stay. Everything we needed for a week's family holiday

A lovely cottage in a nice quiet, yet convenient, location. It had everything we needed and provided a cosy base to return to after a day out. The sitting area outside was a lovely little suntrap - sheltered from any wind and a great place for afternoon tea. An ideal location to base ourselves as walkers as Flamborough Head, Bempton and Danes Dyke were all within walking distance.

Great location for Bempton cliffs where you can see puffins, dolphins, owls, Gannets and lots more wild life

Comment: Lovely cottage, beautifully kept with everything supplied for a enjoyable holiday.

Reply: Thank you Caroline. You forgot to mention that we always have fantastic guests! So pleased you enjoyed your stay Alison x

Comment: the property was lovely, warm and very well equipped. There is an issue with the loud creaking of floors upstairs- nighttime bathroom visits inevitably woke up the other!

Thank you for the fantastic scoring and feedback Rachel. Really pleased you've brought this to our attention as we've not had this before. We'll try and do our best to solve the creaky issue. Hope it hasn't put you off visiting again. Most of our bookings are returning guests. Thank you again for booking Alison

Fabulous place, very comfortable and welcoming with lots of thoughtful and homely touches. We liked the seperate wet room, ideal for cleaning muddy dogs away from the living accommodation. Lovely enclosed garden, weather enabled us to sit out a couple of times, very peacefull. Location is great for walks with a regular bus service if you fancy travelling further afield and you dont want to use the car.
Everything lovely, thank you. A beautifully located and very comfortable home.

Cottage on a lovely quiet small estate on the fringe of the village yet only a short walk into the heart of the village. Everything you need is in the cottage and more than adequate for your stay. Very dog friendly with the additional welly room outside to dry your pet ect if wet weather. Two bedrooms with comfy beds and bathroom upstairs, plenty of storage. Wi-Fi, smart tv dvd player with a good choice of films ect. Cd player with assorted cds for entertainment. Outside sitting area and enclosed garden. An excellent and very popular cottage sits close to an array of walks around Flamborough and beyond. Won't hesitate to book again and would very highly recommend Rosewood Cottage at Flamborough ☆☆☆☆☆❤️👍

What an amazing place Rosewood cottage is. We had a fantastic week here. The house itself has everything you require for a comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable and the garden is enclosed with plenty of seating for those sunny days. Flamborough itself is a lovely village with plenty of great walks nearby. Thanks Alison for letting us stay and we will definitely return in the future.

A beautiful property in a beautiful area, less than a 10 minute walk to the local shops. Will definitely be returning as a family of four again next year

Comfortable, clean (very) and had all we needed for a good holiday. The road was quiet and shops were near. I prefer a dark bedroom which was not possible as there are modern blind units fitted to the window and no curtains: but that is personal thing and no reason why we would not visit again. As far as facilities are concerned it 'said it on the tin' and everything was as we expected from the website and details provided by the owner.

Response:
Thank you ,Peter, for taking the time to review your stay with us. I am very pleased to hear that standards were met.
As we are very early risers, we'd not though about the darkness/lightness of the bedrooms. We're to put black out curtains in each of the bedroom as soon as we can.
Again thank you for your positive comments.
Kind regards
Alison

"The location was lovely and quiet, the house was really clean, warm and had everything that was required for a lovely stay."
The host, Alison, was so nice and very helpful. This is a gem of a property with quality features and a stunning back garden with plenty of space, totally enclosed which helped keep our dog safe. Plenty to do in the area and stunning views from the cliffs, plenty of walks and an accessible beach at Bridlington.

Thank you Wendy. Perfect guests. So pleased you enjoyed the stay. Alison, Property Owner

Thank you for letting us have your lovely cottage in Flamborough last week. We absolutely loved Rosewood Cottage, we found everything we needed for a trouble free holiday. The tasteful modern furniture and lovely kitchen- 5 Star all the way. We did quite a lot of exploring the area and the Royal Dog and Duck was an added bonus!!
Thank you once again, we hope to contact you soon about doing the same thing next year.

Just returned from Rosewood Cottage, a stunning house, well equipped and in a lovely quiet cul de sac. An ideal location, close to the local amenities and a fantastic base to explore the surrounding areas, Danes Dyke, North and South landings and Thornwick Bay only a short drive into Bridlington. Brilliant for walking, chilling and relaxing. We had a lovely week and can highly recommend and will be booking again for next year,

Reminder for myself today- July:
Just to remind myself after reading these positive reviews again how appreciative our visitors are. All credit to the Rosewood Cottage team who make this possible

"Rosewood Cottage is a gem of a place, well equipped, comfortable and in a quiet but convenient location for exploring Flamborough and its many local walks. Nearby Danes Dyke is a stunning area, with wooded valley, leading down to a beautiful beach, which must be seen at various states of the tide to appreciate it in all its splendour. We saw puffins at Bempton and at North Landing where we watched them on the cliffs and bobbing around in the water. Binoculars are needed for really good viewings. Seals spotted at North Landing and off Flamborough Head itself. A lovely memorable week and a great place to relax."

"We spent a wonderful week ( 11-18 June 2021). The details for the property were clear and accurate. If anything, we were pleasantly surprised at the space, both inside and in the little garden. Everything we needed. Covid security great. Peaceful, quiet neighbourhood from which to venture out for birding adventures. Bempton Cliffs WOW!! but cliff walks all round the peninsula were great. We NEARLY got to go out on the Yorkshire Belle but cancellation due to rough sea. (If you want a trip on the Belle, ignore the online system that says they're booked up till whenever. We rand and they were empty). Bridlington was fun. Quiet walks into the Wolds were nice."

“Rosewood cottage is a modern house, well appointed in a convenient location.” It is ideal for a couple or a small family. A lot of thought had been put into COVID precautions- we felt reassured by this. The house is a short walk into the centre of Flamborough and is a good base for exploring the area. The owners were charming and had put a lot of effort into providing information to help us enjoy our stay.Sept 2020
“We had a great holiday at Rosewood Cottage.”
We all loved it, it was so comfy and had everything we could want. The garden was just perfect too - we all loved sitting out (and our wee dog loved to chase and bark at the “big” birds sitting in the trees!) We stayed well away from the larger towns and beaches and stayed mostly local. The walks along the cliffs at Flamborough are great and the views are spectacular so we missed out on nothing! Bird watching at Bempton is a must too! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
